Greater potential presence

Wave energy potential is thought to be greatest in areas of larger waves. These areas of large wave concentrations are the North Atlantic, the Pacific Northwest, Australia, and the west coast of South
America.

nice wave OWAP works in 2 meter waves

Although, the OWAP would work perfectly fine in these high wave environments, because of its unique “mechanical advantage”
design, it can also be  deployed in areas of smaller waves. This opens up a much larger  potential deployment area  including near large population centers, thereby cutting down on transmission infrastructure.

The simplicity of the design of the OWAP allows for readily available materials and simple
construction techniques to be used in the construction of the device.

These factors make the OWAP more desirable and more competitive than other wave energy converters.  This gives us a large diversity of customers.
globe Utilities
Many world and local governments are mandating their utilities to
produce  a larger percentage of their total power from renewable
sources.  Those mandates will only surely increase.
globe
Water de-salinization

Obtaining fresh water from sea water requires a large amount of
electricity. Most of the  electricity used in de-salinization
plants today comes from fossil fuels. The OWAP is a natural
partner in this  process.
globe
Off Grid Locations

Isolated islands and ocean villages worldwide will be able to benefit
from the OWAP.  A single OWAP  300KW unit  provides power
for 200 U.S. households.

Hybrid systems

Offshore wind or even solar platforms will be able to increase their
capacity with the addition an an OWAP device. Using the same
transmission lines to deliver their power to land.
